Gibber
Gibber will deliver the \'Work Experience Challenge\' three times per annum. The WE Challenge is a 2 week informal course which moves customers closer to the workplace.
The first week consists of three half day workshops held at a city centre location. Workshops focus on confidence, motivation and barriers to employment. During week two Gibber facilitate visits to six different employers where customers get the chance to complete a work based task as part of a group. Week 2 also includes a mock interview with a real employer and concludes with a progression event where customers are encouraged to sign up for further training.
Gibber have delivered this type of course successfully in areas across the North East for the past 4 years. Customers who take part tell us that it is unlike any other training course they have done before. They describe our course as a fun experience that has built their confidence and helped them to take the next step in finding employment.
