Newcastle Welfare Rights Service
A Welfare Rights peripatetic Officer employed to service the Resource Centres across the City. These Resource Centres currently provide expert advice and support to the newly unemployed in helping them back into employment through the Newcastle Futures model.
The WRO will work with Newcastle Futures staff and other partners to offer immediate advice to maximize income. Being co-located allows clients to access a package of support and means they are supported through every stage of their journey into employment and whilst in employment to ensure they remain in work. The WRO will participate in joint Partnership events where need is identified.
