Newcastle Futures work with local organisations within the Newcastle Futures Partnership and they offer various training courses and support.  Once meeting a Customer Co-ordinator they will able to help identify which course(s) would be most suitable to help find employment.

The courses available through the Newcastle Futures Partnership are varied and include offers such as confidence building, skills training and literacy and numeracy skills. Skills training on offer focusses on those demand skills that are required by employers in todays job market. They can range from from customer service to contruction skills. Often customers are keen to train and move to a different career path, our courses can support both the skills development and the knowledge of the various industires on offer.

If suitable training cannot be found within the Newcastle Futures Partnership, then a Customer Co-ordinator will help research and recommend an appropriate training course to match the customer’s needs.

Support offered by a Customer Co-ordinator to compliment the training can incorporate how to complete a successful job application or rework a CV to meet the job specification or job advert. Interview techniques such as competancy based recruitment can be discussed with helpful hints and tips on what types of questions you may be asked at interview and how to be the best on the day.
